It is assumed to be made during the 4th year (503) of King Jijeung’s reign of Silla Dynasty. The writing on the monument provides very precious information to the study of economy, legislative system, and society in Silla. Moreover, it has many terms and contents of politics, and system of that time. Along with Uljin Bongpyeong Silla-bi (year 524), it is regarded as a precious material for studying the history of Silla. Characters were carved in front, back, and top. The number and size of characters are not the same, but the front is comprised of 12 lines and 152 characters, back is comprised of 7 lines and 59 characters, and the top is comprised of 5 lines and 20 characters.
