Pohang City Hall Korean Language Course

Pohang City will begin a new term of our complimentary Korean on-line classes as follows:

▣ Class Schedule

Tuesday   AM 10:00 ~ 12:00 (Beginner A)

             PM 07:00 ~ 09:00 (Beginner B)

Thursday  AM 10:00 ~ 12:00 (Intermediate A)

             PM 07:00 ~ 09:00 (Intermediate B)

▣ Level Description (two classes per level – beginner and intermediate)

 ◎ Beginner: Korean alphabets, Measure words, Time words, Past tense, Negative form,

Location, Future tense, Suggestions, Comparison, Assumptions, Reasons, etc.

 ◎ Intermediate: Self introductions, Adjectives, Honorific form, Superlatives,

Demonstrative pronouns, etc.

▣ Course Duration: Mar. 2. 2021 ~ Jun. 10. 2021 (for 15 weeks, once a week)

▣ Application Period: Feb. 3 ~ Feb. 24. 2021

▣ Application Procedure: Applicants are required to submit the attached application form and personal information collection and use agreement confirmation by e-mail (tinkleje@korea.kr) during the registration period, and confirmation e-mail will be sent by Feb. 28, 2021.

▣ Required documents: Application form , personal information collection and use agreement confirmation with photos of both sides of ID card (Alien Registration Card)

▣ Fees: Free of charge except for the textbook

▣ Admission will be given on a first-come-first-served basis.

▣ Class Size: 15 students per class

▣ How to Take Classes

- Classes will be carried out online using Google Meet app or another platforms.

- Invitation link will be sent to selected students.

- If classes are all full before the application period is over, the applicants will be on a waiting list.

- Classes with less than 10 students will be cancelled.
